About Al Ashraf Fragrances

Al Ashraf started at a kitchen table with a bottle of oud oil, a set of glass droppers and far too many opinions about perfume.

We grew up around attar. Our grandfathers wore it to Friday prayers, and our mothers kept a bottle of rose oil in the almari for weddings. What we couldn't find was attar that felt traditional and carefully made at the same time: honest ingredients, clean blends and bottles you would be proud to keep on your dresser.

How we make our attars

Every fragrance starts as an attar. We blend in small batches, rest each one for at least four weeks so the notes can settle, and only then fill the bottles by hand. Our eau de parfums are built from the same blends and adjusted to be sprayed.

What we will never do

We don't use alcohol in our attars. We don't sell copies of designer perfumes. And we don't send out anything we wouldn't happily wear ourselves.
